Hi, I’m Zoë, the team leader for GOLD Mexico 2018! I’m super excited to be part of GOLD again after having an incredible time as part of the first project in Aruba in 2016. I can’t wait to meet the girls and leaders in Mexico, and am particularly excited to work with such a wide age range, and to eat real Mexican food!
I’ve been a member of Girlguiding all my life, and although I have my adult leadership qualification with Rainbows, I’m currently an Assistant Leader at a Guide unit. At university I loved being a Rainbow leader, so I’m still trying to get used to working with the older girls!
I love animals, and I’ve recently finished a research Masters in Wildlife Behaviour and Conservation, and spent time in Cambodia conducting research on deer and their habitat. I’ve just moved home to Chesterfield in Derbyshire after living in Chester for four years whilst at uni, and would love a job in conservation (or something to do with animals!).
